Probiotics are useful bacteria that are known to render many benefits especially when used as supplements. They also produce lactic acids and other organic acids that are useful. In our study, probiotics are discovered from gut of fishes and developed as probiotics encapsulated to Artemia in larviculture. Our findings are in:

Endophytes are new sources of valuable compounds-antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-tumour. We discovered a great diversity of endophytes with these properties. We also applied light-mediation to induce the production of the compounds. Our findings are in:

Endolichenic fungi have also been discovered to produce valuable bioactive compounds-antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-tumour. This work is on-going and our first publication on this is a review on endolichenic fungi from common lichens and their bioactive compounds :
